The main emphasis of the festival will be the workshops, demonstrations and seminars held over the four-day period. These events are free, open to students and the general public as well, and are suitable for all levels of expertise. The festival will feature a Photography contest that is open to all LBCC students as well as a “juniors” section for high school students. The Friday evening exhibition and reception will showcase work from the LBCC photography program as well as reveal the photography contest winners.
Festival Seminars will be held at the Pacific Coast Campus Photography facility of Long Beach City College from Wednesday April 1st to Saturday April 4th, 2009. The campus is located at 1305 E. Pacific Coast Hwy in Long Beach, CA.
